ILGE TNA/NOA Review Panel

The revision process of TNA/NOA proposals in ILGE is centrally coordinated by the ILGE TNA/NOA management team, based at INGV and UniRomaTre. Access to ILGE facilities is organized on a per-call basis, with two calls scheduled for the period between January 2024 to November 2025. Each call includes a review phase, during which members of the ILGE TNA/NOA review panel assess short research proposals based on scientific excellence. Proposals undergo evaluations by experts who are independent of the ILGE laboratory to which the application is directed.

Members of the ILGE TNA/NOA review panel are expected to have strong scientific and technical expertise in one or more geoscientific fields and will express their expertise through the selection of keywords from a predefined list in the reviewer application form (see link below). Proposals for review can be received at any time between February and April during the call opening, and we anticipate that the workload for a review will be approximately one to two days at most. Reviews will be conveyed through a provided evaluation form template.

Applications from potential panel members are welcome at any time. Please note that members of the ILGE TNA/NOA Review Panel are eligible to participate in a call for access, but they cannot serve as reviewers in the same call in which they are applying. We encourage applications from individuals with diverse skills, experience, genders, career stage and from all geographic regions. Please consult the ILGE TNA/NOA Review Panel guidelines for complete information on your role as a reviewer, fill out the Application form and provide a signed version of the Appointment Letter to finalize the application.
