ILGE comprises a total of 23 laboratories and 102 affiliated researchers and technicians, each contributing unique expertise to the network. These laboratories, distributed among our partner institutions, encompass various disciplines in the Earth Sciences, such as high-pressure high-temperature experimental volcanology and geophysics,experimental tectonics, paleomagnetism, geochemistry, optical and scanning electron microscopy, core logging and site effects investigation, among others.
In pursuit of advancing scientific knowledge, ILGE unites these institutions and their diverse laboratories, fostering collaboration and innovation to unravel the complexities of Earth's dynamic processes.
